Early this morning there were four Greater White-fronted Geese just east of
Shrewsbury near Rondeau. They were very skittish and proceeded to fly towards
Rondeau Bay where they are currently not visible.
They should come back out to feed
at some point.

Just heard the distinctive call of the Killdeer in Tommy Thompson Park, about
200m past the gates, across from the marina. I couldn't locate it by eye, but I
think it was along the shore on the other side of some snow drifts. Perhaps if
you're there today you'll be lucky to
A Bonaparte's Gull in Gzowski Park at 1130 on February 20th. It was on the
breakwater opposite the west end of the parking strip off Lakeshore Blvd.,
among the usual Ring-billed, Herring, and Great Black-backed gulls. Identified
by David Dunham. Also several pairs of White-winged Scoters
