Hello Birders
Today there are about 15,000 TUNDRA SWANS down Greenway
Rd. opposite the Pinery Park.
The area is quite dry so far this year.
Good flight photos can be taken at about 4.pm. in the evening sunshine as they
leqave the fields to spend t5he night on the Lake
On this glorious day, I came across what I believe are three more Trumpeter
Swans. A day for Gabriel. They are west of the Kilmarnock bridge across the
Rideau, resting on the ice. Take Cty Rd 43 east out of Smith Falls to the
Kilmarnock sign and turn south. The bridge is just a little
Snowy owl sitting at the end of the pier at whitby harbour

While birding along the Lake Erie shoreline today from Port Glasgow,
Clear Creek, Rose Beach Line to Erieau highlights included 5 Red-necked
Grebes off the boat launch at Clear Creek and a male Eurasian Wigeon in
a flooded corn stubble field near McGeachey's Pond.

Hi folks
This beautiful Monday pm there was a Common Raven , with wedge tail and Deep
low cr-uuk...cr-uuk calls, at the Lakeside Promenade Park. It circled 3 times
over the baseball diamond at the base of Godwin st. and flew toward Lakeside
Promenade, it was about 5 pm.

Just to let you know that they haven't left yet, on my way home from Kitchener
last evening, I had four different Snowy Owls along a 20 mile stretch of county
road. That was between highway 7 and Exeter along highway 83. All very
beautiful, sitting on telephone posts in the setting sun.
