Today was cool with north winds but once on the trail from the visitor ctr
quite pleasant. Had numerous GC&RC Kinglets several Horned Grebe on the
east side of the tip & Mergansers on the west side. Several Pine Warbler, a
few Yellow Rumped Warbler & 1 Audubon Yellow Rumped Warbler. I also had 1

A Snowy Owl sat on a fence post along the east side of Airport Road just
opposite farmhouse 911 number 2186 around 1530 hours this afternoon. Go north
on Airport Road, past Creemore until you reach farmhouse 2186. The fence post
is down a slope on the east side of Airport

on the east side.

I went to the marsh early this am. A beautiful M+F canvasback pair, two tundra swans. My first wood duck, yellow warbler, marsh wren and hermit thrush of the year. Ruddy ducks. Not a gull to be seen. Second marsh is behind the GM headquarters on Wentworth. Take Harmony road exit- go south on Far
