The Visitor Centre (km 43) is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm with full services
(exhibits, book store and restaurant) during March Break (March 11 to 19).
There were no signs of new migration during this week, likely due in large

RING-BILLED GULL X BLACK-HEADED GULL

The return of winter conditions to Presqu'ile Provincial Park has
limited the amount of day-to-day change in bird life as well as the
amount of birder activity. On the bright side, the return of ice cover
to much of Presqu'ile Bay bodes well for the annual Waterfowl Viewing
Weekend scheduled

For the second week in a row, there were no highlights. The false spring of
3 weeks ago is now a distant memory. Unseasonable

Today I took a lunchtime drive to the Minesing "Ice"lands at the top end of
McKinnon Road (on the eastern edge of Angus). I figured with this nice
sunshine and strong NW winds it could be good for an eagle.
Well, I was wrong, it was good for FOUR eagles - 2 adult Golden + 2 adult
