This morning at 0835h an American White Pelican was observed at the Mosaic ponds. There is active construction in the ponds so it may not stick around. The bird was preening on the easternmost berm associated with Canada Goose and Mallard. Directions: from QEW take the Red Hill Pkwy south to

[Ontbirds] Gull Update - Bronte Harbour, Oakville

So far this morning only Bonaparte's and Little Gulls are present but gulls are usually feeding out on the lake at this time and they were still coming into the pier as I left. George Prieksaitis emailed me this morning and said that he definitely had the Franklin's Gull last night around 8:45
