I refound the dickcissel that was being seen yesterday on the upper Bruce
peninsula.
Directions : drive up highway 6, then left onto dyers bay road.
It was at the intersection of dyers bay road and crane lake road, heard singing
and seen at close range.

Hi Ontario birders,
Josh and I are currently looking at the female Violet-green Swallow at Thunder
Bay Marina with Glenn Stronks. She is present and beautifully on display and
getting a bit frisky with her male Tree Swallow companion, who is defending
their nest box from other Tree Swallows!
Since things are slow in Brighton these days I thought I would let everyone
know that I continue to see the Leucistic Robin. It is still looking
absolutely fantastic, good weight and colour.
I am pleased that it is still around. Still not sure if it is male/female
but unless we see some action,

So sorry about this but due to scheduling conflicts (and Father's Day) we
have had to cancel this years nest search trip to the Evergreen Brick Works
which was scheduled on Sunday.
