Hello birders,
Myself and Murray Shields with our group had a very vocal Three-toed
Woodpecker just then, slightly north of the Costello Creek picnic area on
Opeongo Road.
Algonquin can be accessed via HW 400, 11 and 60. Opeongo Road is 46.3 km
from the west gate.

which was undoubtedly the same individual, was seen by other local birders
again this morning in the same area.
Apologies for the false
The O.C. Warbler was on the small hill next to (just south) the small bridge a

Just before that, a peregrine was feasting on a pigeon near eastern tip of
park. Was on a tree stump 15 feet high, providing exceptional views.

The Brant formerly at the Crystal Beach boat launch is now on the beach
about a kilometre west of there. It is west of the double level peer.
Best aproached from parking lot at 4155 Erie Rd. west of where it is
foraging with some mallards.

Alliston,
There are at least 3 N. Rough-winged Swallows, flying over the Niagara River
across from the Control Gates. They are mid river and ranging widely over the
section of the river between the Control Gates and the rusty barge.
Good birding,
