This week’s freezing rain, ice pellets, snow and high winds were very
disheartening for birders and everybody else, but this weather will make us
that much more appreciative of spring when it does arrive …. in June! Due to
the poor conditions there were fewer birders in the Park and only a few

The Eurasian Collared Dove was still present and active (associating with one
of a pair of nesting Mourning Doves) at 229 Miller Road in Dutton this morning.
We mainly saw it at the house next door (225). I'm told not everyone is
Fox and White throated sparrow this morning in back yard.
Yeah! Migrants are coming.
