This morning at 8:45 I found a male Eurasian Widgeon at Cranberry Marsh
straight out from the N platform. We watched it for about 15 minutes but then
it disappeared as it moved south into the south portion of the marsh. People

The Willet that was first discovered at Cranberry Marsh yesterday morning is
still being seen. We observed it first from the SW platform but had better
unobstructed views from the NW platform as it feed along the shoreline out in
the middle of the marsh.

Piping Plover on Darlington Beach just east of the boathouse. It is being seen
along the water's edge.

There is currently a male Eurasian Widgeon at the north end of Corner Marsh in
Ajax. It is transitioning into full breeding plumage so is relatively easy to
pick out among the other assortment of duck as it has a bright rufous face and
cream coloured central head stripe.

I saw the Western grebe was seen this morning, 8:45 onward. It gradually
drifted to within 20m of shore. It was near the end of the western spit.
