A few of us have located 2 peregrine Falcons on the roof of Lakeridge Health
Oshawa. This hospital is one of the tallest buildings in Oshawa.
One of the birds is on the roof, perhaps guarding an egg. The other is often
resting on the north west roof corner. People cannot get up to see this
I did not find the red-necked phalarope. But there are 18 short-billed
dowitchers in the eastern most pond.
Most of everything else Geoff lists in the following email are still there as
well.

Good birds at Cranberry this morning
There were Numerous:
*Green winged teal
*Hooded Merganser
*Shoveller
*Ring Necked duck
*Gadwall etc.
And 3 wood ducks
And many red necked grebes on the lake
In the woods there were some yellow crowned kinglets and a flicker.
The marsh is part of Lynde

Like Mark K, I birded east of the Rouge and northern pickering this afternoon.
I missed his RING-NECKED PHEASANT, but I did have 12 wild turkey on Sewell's
Road, just south of the auto wrecker, south of Steeles Ave.
I also went to 850 Conc. 7 just east of Sideline 28 to try for

The field is located- near Port Perry which is north of Oshawa in Durham region.
1 km south of King street, Port Perry.
West side of highway 2 (Simcoe Street north).
One field north has wild turkeys feeding.

The western grebe remains at Col Sam Smith Park. It is swimming in the entrance
to the marina. That is west side.
