The Reddish Egret is still being seen at Oliphant this afternoon at
3:30 pm.
My wife and I saw the bird fly in and land and then proceeded to
do it’s feeding ritual in a shallow area.
Travel along the shore road to the north end along the gravel portion.

Today Doug Pedwell, Stu Nutt, Nancy White and Mike Pickup along with many
members of the Bruce Birding Club viewed the Ruff between 1:30 and 2:00 pm in
the same location as reported by Jarmo Jalava yesterday. Many good lucks as it
was displaying amongst a group of Greater Yellowlegs. Thanks Jarm
Thanks to Jean Iron for finding the Black Headed Gull a lifer for me. With the
help of a friend Stephan Menu who gave a wonderful description of the flight of
the bird as it flew around the whirlpool rapids a number times and a few of the
Bruce Birders were able to follow as he described the fl
