McCraney. From here, the 16 Mile Creek Trail allows views to the west over the
valley, where you may see more migrants.

Road and Blind Line, Halton Region.
Directions- Dundas to Brittania, west 2km to Blind Line. Parking at the corner.

Just after noon today 3 Chimney Swifts were circling around Knox Presbyterian
Church in Oakville.
Directions- QEW to Trafalgar. south to Lakeshore, west one block. The church
does have an old chimney and a bell tower

A large flock on TVs just flew over the The Glenorchy Forest near the
old Landfill Site.
Location; take Neyagawa north to Burnhamthorpe, west to old 4th line

trees in which the Warblers were concentratedas well as a ravine on

Along with the juncos, Blue Jays and local House Sparrows, I had a
White Throated Sparrow at my backyard feeder yesterday afternoon near
sixth line and Upper Middle Road.
It has not re-appeared today
Directions: Upper Middle west to Sixth Line.

Campground roads make for easy access on foot to some nice birding
areas along the river.

that the irruption is quite widespread and it will be
interesting to see where others are observed over the winter.

my eye, as I first thought it was a Great Blue
Heron heading for the Credit. When it turned, we all saw the white head
and tail, despite being a few hundred feet up. It was the first time I,
as well as my children, have seen one in the wild in the urban part of
S Ont.
