I (obviously) do not use ONTBIRDS much, because I did not know that there could be such a delay in messages being delivered (it is possible it was routed via the US [?] since I sent it from the middle of Lake Eire).


In any event, I apologise for not making it clear - the bird was found Sunday morning, May 14, not "this morning," May 15. I should have specified the date in the original post.


(It has not, to my knowledge, been seen since, though we managed to send several parties up from Fish Point to look for it).

Found this morning at Sheridan Point at 0820. Was foraging and singing vigorously in bushes on th SW side of Sheridan pt. Road, just opposite the Vin Villa gate.
To reach Sheridan Point road, from West Dock drive about 6 km due N on West Shore Rd, and turn left just past the Anchor and Wheel Inn.
