Today Jean Iron and I observed a rare "Yellow" Palm Warbler (eastern subspecies hypochrysea) in the Wet Woods at the base of Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie Street Spit). This rarer of the two subspecies in Ontario breeds mainly east of Ontario into Atlantic Canada.
