This is NOT unique to Sympatico users but with over 400 sympatico users subscribed to Ontbirds I feel this is best way to address current delivery issues.

If you are subscribed to Ontbirds you have three options, individual email, a daily digest or no mail delivery. You choose. Ontbirds software DOES NOT choose. It is sends all messages as instructed.

Missing messages are often trapped by anti-spam software using USER based instruction.

I am not with sympatico so this is second hand but I understand that you can use Windows Live Mail. Check your anti-spam settings. One option I note in hotmail (whose parent company is Microsoft) is Safe Mailing Lists (under Options > Safe and Blocked Senders) where birdalert-boun...@ontbirds.ca should be entered. Something like that might help.

IF you continue to have trouble contact me directly - DO NOT post to birdalert@ontbirds.ca. It is for reporting birds NOT problems.
