Hi Ontbirders,

A male Blue-winged Warbler was singing just to the north of the parking lot for
the Jack Pine Trail (P9, Stoney Swamp) at about 9:20 am, this morning. Bird was
singing loudly and frequently. Photos taken and submitted with eBird checklist.

Numerous Black-throated Green Warblers, Yellow-rumpeds, Yellow Warbler,
Great-crested Flycatcher, Purple Finch and a late group of 3 Evening Grosbeaks
were also seen.

Directions: In Ottawa, from intersection of West Hunt Club Rd and Moodie Dr,
drive roughly 1 km south on Moodie Dr to the P9 parking lot (National Capital
Commission). Bird was in area immediately north of the parking lot in the trees
above the Jack Pine Trail sign immediately adjacent to Moodie Drive.
