Birders I can understand that posting from a hand-held device can be awkward but Ontbirds Posting Guidelines ask for directions with every post. It might be an idea to review how to use your phone before chasing a bird. Regardless of software or operating system, all devices have copy and paste capabilities. It is really disappointing to end up in the field with a printout that refers to previous emails.
Ontbirds posting guidelines are sent to every new subscriber but they can also be read on the web at the Ontario Field Ornithologists' website at http://www.ofo.ca/information/ontbirdsguide.php Directions: (from earlier post) From the west end of Picton at the traffic lights take Lake Street fromthe LCBO and follow south (Lake Street becomes County Road 10) to CherryValley. At the Stop sign in Cherry Valley, turn left and follow C.R. 10 for another 6 km to Milford. Upon reaching Milford, turn left at the Stop sign, then right again at the post office in Milford, and continue on C.R. 10 for about 2 km. and the ponds are on the bend of the highway almost across from the intersection of Royal Road. -- Mark Cranford ONTBIRDS Coordinator Mississauga, Ont. mark.cranf...@ofo.ca 905 279 9576 _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
