A few visitors to the tower today, all happy with Golden Eagle.

Weather:
Continuing southwesterly winds and cloudless skies.

Raptor Observations:
A few more Turkey Vultures far to the north, with the occasional Red-tail
with them. Highlights of the day were two young Golden Eagles that went by
just 30min apart, and not extremely far out.

Non-raptor Observations:
The Tundra Swan continues, though it can be distant and hard to spot. A
male Eurasian Wigeon was found out on the marsh late this afternoon. 3 more
N. Rough-winged Swallows and a single young migrant Red-headed Woodpecker
are late birds for the area. A total of 2810 Blue Jays were counted. It was
a pretty good migrating day for a few species of passerines today; Cedar
Waxwings (179), American Goldfinch (194), and a whopping total of 693 Pine
Siskins! Full eBird checklist can be viewed here:

Monarchs were counted migrating.

Predictions:
More/less the same, just a few more clouds predicted.
