Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Bob Hall-Brooks, Michael Williamson

Visitors:
A few visitors today, unfortunately there weren't too many birds to show
them as most came after the main push.

Weather:
There was a nice big cloud right over the tower for the first 1-2 hours of
counting, but then it moved out over the lake. Winds still relatively
light, but more easterly than southerly compared to the previous days.

Raptor Observations:
Today's flight was fairly similar to the previous two days, just a little
bit smaller. Over 3/4 of all the birds counted today occurred between 10-12
local time - including nearly all the Broad-winged Hawks. There were at
least 2 Osprey making their rounds of the marsh looking for fish, neither
migrated today. Yet again, most birds were far to the North.

Non-raptor Observations:
Waterfowl numbers seem to slowly be building, and the first 6 Ring-necked
Ducks of the year were observed. Blue Jay numbers just slightly higher than
yesterdays total with 545. For the full eBird checklist, go to:
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S39339595 Dragonfly numbers were much
lower than the past few days, although Black Saddlebags, Twelve-spotted
Skimmer, and Green Darners were all observed migrating. Additionally about
40 Monarchs were tallied.

Predictions:
Sunny skies with east and southeasterly winds...
