There are 6 male, and one female, megansers just west of Pig Island in
the Rideau Canal. They were there last evening and this morning at 6:30am
Pig Island is opposite Lansdowne Park, at the bottom of the stairs to
Colonel By Drive at the intersection of Riverdale/Echo
Dr/Bristoal/Avenue Road in (Old) Ottawa South.
About a dozen cormorants as well, along with the odd Canada Goose and
mallard
