Posting for Jim Richards
A friend of mine (Tony Wood) watched a large bird fly into the side of a
truck, then was struck by a passing car yesterday (Nov. 15/10)
He brought the dead bird to me and it is on its way to ROM on Tues.
Northern Gannet; first year bird.
Flying south over hyway # 2 near Newcastle, (east of Bowmanville) in lot
35, Conc. 2, Clarke Twsp., Clarington, about 2 km north of the
waterfront, when it collided.
