Continues to be seen this morning from Ottawa beach. Spends most of time
sitting in middle of the lake but flushes on occasion to harass gulls. Scope
needed to spot on the lake.

east. Intermittently harassing Ring bills then resting on water.
Directions: Accessed from Carling Ave. park in eastern parking lot and walk
N to Ottawa River shoreline.

Firstly, thanks to B Campbell Stevens and Amy Lawes for sending photos of a
unknown species jaeger they saw at ANdrew Haydon Park this morning. I just
got on the bird; adult Parasitic.It flew from the west and landed in the
bay along "Ottawa Beach"

The juvenile Parasitic Jaeger is still present along the south shore of Lake
Deschenes along the Ottawa River. Since its first observation on September 13,
it has been spending most of the time between resting on the water or chasing
unsuspecting Ring-billed Gulls. This afternoon
The juvenile Parasitic Jaeger continues. Currently being well-seen from
Ottawa Beach at Andrew Haydon Park.

For those who may not have seen the juv. Parasitic Jaeger since it was 1st
reported last Sunday — the bird was still present this morning, seen from
"Ottawa Beach". From 0730 - 0745, it flew past the beach a few times, then
settled on the river. I had good views using only binoculars.

The juvenile Parasitic Jaeger was still present this morning at 8:30am at
Ottawa Beach. It was harassing a large group of Cormorants several 100 meters
from shore. There was also 6 Black-bellied Plovers but I could not find the
Red-necked Phalarope.

afternoon at 3pm patrolling the shoreline between Nepean Sailing Club, Andrew
Haydon Park and Britannia Yacht Club.

This morning at 8:30 a.m. I observed an adult light morph Parasitic Jaeger
flying along the Ottawa River at Deschenes Rapids. The jaeger flew in from the
east, spooked all the gulls that were resting on the exposed rocks at Deschenes
Rapids than continued west and disappeared. I

This morning at 10:25 am I observed a juvenile light-morph Parasitic Jaeger
harassing the gulls out on the river at the east end of Andrew Haydon Park. The
bird flew in from the north, harassed the gulls for approximately 20 seconds,
