Birders,

This time of year we experience a very high message load. Many would like to see the daily intake at a more manageable levels. Before reporting your first of the year of an expected bird check the following link to get a sense of the bird's current status http://www.ofo.ca/site/page/view/eBird.OFOebirdrecent and click on bird you are thinking of reporting.

If you don't see your species on the list (example Chimney Swift) unclick Notable Species.

If your bird is wide spread across the province an additional report to Ontbirds is probably not necessary.
