Hi Ontbirders,

This morning before work I stopped in at 11th Line about 400m east of
Tottenham Road near Beeton. Thanks to Dave Szmyr's help, I found the Willet
tucked-in about 150-200m north of 11th Line on a narrow, long puddle in the
muddy field. Scope would make viewing much easier but bird can be seen with
binoculars.

There is a Peregrine Falcon that has been patrolling the area for at least
5 days and causing the bird to hunker down. I was there for about 10
minutes and the Willet stayed with it's bill tucked into it's back for
almost the entire time.

Good birding!
