On Monday, September 29th while birding east of Ottawa with Jane Burgess and Nadine Tate we had two separate observations of Snow Geese. The first, around 11:45 am, was an adult Blue Morph Snow Goose at the Embrun Sewage Lagoons. It was with Canada Geese but separated from them which provided a great view. The second Snow Goose was seen in a field on the north side of Russell Road just west of Frank Kenny Road around 3:50 pm. It also was with Canada Geese but fully visible very close to the road.
