I first heard, then saw a pair of Northern Ravens while walking east from Reesor Road, south of Steele's Avenue, northern end of Scarborough. There are lots of powerlines in that area but it is the first you encounter going south from Steele's, and has two openings that you can enter and walk

At 3:30 this afternoon I saw two singing male Dickcissels near the Velodrome in Milton. From Regional Road 25 go west on Louis St. Laurent Avenue until it ends at a right turn on Pan Am Blvd. The birds are in a weedy field on the west side near the corner. Gavin Edmondstone
