Just found the Ross’s goose in a golf course on the northside of Bayly just
west of Westney in Ajax. Feeding with Canada Geese.
Exit 401 at Westney go south and the. West in Bayly

The Ross’s Goose flew into the harbour around 5:10 tonight. Distant views.
Also present the pintail/mallard hybrid and a Canada/domestic goose hybrid.
Roosting with hundreds of Mallards and thousands of Canada Geese.
Seen at Whitby harbour about 30 minutes easts of Toronto.
For those interested in the Ross’s Goose in Grimsby, it has not been here since
at least 11am this morning. Rick

Wanted to get the word out about a white-winged crossbill I came across in
Preservation Park, Guelph, ON. A flock of ~20 Pine Siskins flew in from the
north and landed in some conifers just off the trail. Of this very vocal group,

The Townsend's Solitaire continues in Dufferin near Shelburne (not that we
expected it to go anywhere soon!)
It took about an hour for the group to get a visual on it, however members of
the group heard it calling off and on long before it was seen. I actually
