[Ontbirds] Western Grebe at JC Saddington

The Western Grebe found yesterday was seen for a short time at about 8AM closer to the mouth of the river. It was diving regularly and I lost sight of it beyond binocular range. Good luck. JC Saddington park is at the bottom of Mississauga Rd in Mississauga.

Hello, I just saw a lone Sandhill Crane in a corn field very close to the Pink Rd, just west of Perry Rd, next to 468 Pink Rd. It was keeping company with two does. First reported by Dave and Mary Russell. This is in the sector of Aylmer, in Gatineau, QC. Cheers, Brian Young

Ontbirds subscribers, While out front of my house unloading some boxes from my car, I just had an adult Black Vulture with eight Turkey Vultures soaring over Thickson's Woods. I watched them drift off to the east over the Corbett Creek Marsh. Thickson's Woods is located 2 km south of Hwy 401
