Sharron and I went out yesterday afternoon for our new years drive to look for
raptors. This year we decided to try the Linwood area and not Fisherville.
This turned out to be a good decision. We had 10 Rough-legs, 12 Red-tails, 1
Kestrel and 7 Snowy Owls.
The owls were along County road 5,
Sitting in the Field right now, on the south-east corner of Paisley Rd. And
county rd. 32. He's within 50 yards of the corner.
My best guess is he's an immature male. He's on the smaller side, and has light
barring.
