[Ontbirds] American Robins (Numerous), Queensville, ON (Fields West of Leslie St. South of Milne Lane)

Unsure whether to report this, but today in the early afternoon there were numerous (50-75 estimate) American Robins in the fields west of Leslie St. in Queensville. Typically in winter in Queensville we might see a few robins around, but I have never seen this many in January! Across the road

[Ontbirds] Golden Eagle, adult. Minesing Wetlands CA (off George Johnston Rd)

Birders, I decided on a lunch drive up George Johnston Rd and then decided to walk a bit of the Willow Creek trail. Within 2 minutes of walking I spotted a distant buteo-like bird. I watched it climb quickly on a thermal and as it came closer I saw it was much too broad/bulky for a buteo.
