Presqu’ile Birding Report for the week of Aug 31 to Sept 6 2018
There are no real highlights to report this week. With the continued heat wave
migration has slowed down significantly with the best birding occurring during
the weekend and slowed down as the week went on.

The highlight of the week was an elusive CONNECTICUT WARBLER, seen near
Luskville on the 3rd, but not seen since.
Like last
Today after Bob and Margaret left ( she never learns :>)) ) I continued on
towards Centre Island and though there were not many birds, 6 species of
warbler only and a total of only 16 of these but 3 of them were Pine Warblers
and 3 were Connecticut Warblers, 2 males and 1 female. The female
Currently being seen across from 95 Shoreline road - flew from shallows
into a tinboat across from #69 and then back west to the small bay.
