HIGHLIGHTS: CALIFORNIA GULL
The week was characterized by a strong passerine flight on the 18th, and a
solid week of waterbirds and shorebirds. Gull Island remained the best place

Birders,
Many people looked extensively for the Common Ground-Dove at Tommy Thompson
Park in Toronto this morning, but it has not been relocated yet as far as I
know (some may still be looking).

As of now - 11.09 - the Least Tern has not been refound. Daryl Nethercott was
on Ipperwash Beach and has not had it go past. It may have looped back towards
Pinery but I will check the local shorelines this afternoon.

taken. Take outer drive to dolway to Rayburn to the beach check the spit area
near the river mouth

Bruce Brydon reports that at least 6 of the American Avocets remain at the
Holland Landing Sewage Lagoons as of 7:30am this morning. Good luck if you
go.
DIRECTIONS:
To get to the Lagoons, take Hwy 404 to Queensville Sdrd, drive west until
reaching Yonge St, then turn south to Cedar
