[Ontbirds] Dickcissel, Essex County: Harrow

Birders, A Dickcissel was singing at one of my stops on the Kingsville BBS I ran Saturday, June 24. The male sang persistently from a dead tree in a hedgerow approx. 1 km west of Ferris Road halfway between Concession 4 and Concession 5 approximately 3 km NE of Harrow, as the crow flies.

A probable Mottled Duck was observed at Keith McLean Conservation Area on Kent Bridge Road approximately 1 km north of the road into Rondeau Provincial Park. The bird was observed at a distance under not the greatest light conditions from the observation tower at 6:00 pm on May 1. Michael
