If you enjoy the Lake Ontario waterfowl count, the hawkwatch, the Whimbrel 
watch, or the Christmas count – then maybe you’d like to take part in the Long 
Watch.

It is a volunteer-run project to accumulate seasonal data on bird populations 
on natural lands owned by the Royal Botanical Gardens <http://www.rbg.ca/> .  
We are is looking for volunteer birders with some spare time, any day of the 
week, and who like the idea of birding with a scientific purpose.

We’re looking for birders who can take a couple of hours any day or days this 
fall to complete transects along defined routes in some of the areas best 
birding sites around Cootes Paradise in Burlington and Hamilton.  You can read
