A female-type KIEI is resting on the rocks to the SE most point of Lock 27/28 along the St Lawrence River. This site is several kilometres west of Cardinal. Directions: From Highway 2, head S along Galop Canal Rd to its dead end. Walk S to southmost "finger" of locks then head E. The bird is roosting on a slab at the east tip
