Hello Ontbirders, I have to change the date of the OFO outing that I am leading this month as I will be in Greece. Instead of September 8th, the hike will be on September 22nd. We will follow the same game plan as originally posted. (Meet 7:30 am on Cassels Road, outside the gate to the Britannia Filtration Plant. Fall migrants: warblers, sparrows, waterfowl, shorebirds, gulls. Bring lunch. Trip ends at 5:00 pm or whenever you want to depart.)
This is shaping up to be a great fall for birds in Ottawa with very low river levels. I'm looking forward to getting out with some of you! See you then.
