Today with Declan Troy, Ross Harris, Brennan Obermayer and Dave Szmyr, we had close views of two Thayer's Gulls (adult and juvenile) on the Barrie waterfront at the foot of Bayfield Street. You can't miss the bonanza of gulls feeding on abundant minnows. We also saw three Little Gulls (a first winter and 2 adults) among loads of Bonaparte's Gulls, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (2 juveniles and a second winter), and two Kumlien's Gulls (adult and a third winter).
