To anyone with the interest or inclination, there is a Cattle Egret on the lawn at the Lake of Two Rivers Campground beach volleyball court. It was first reported as a small white heron-like bird at 2:30 p.m. and I was able to confirm it @ 3:40 p.m. This is the 1st record of this species for Algonquin Park! Please note that you require a park permit for your vehicle in order to use any of the park facilities. Good birding!
