Hello Ont Birders.
In the Fall when we have East or South-east winds, it can be rather exiting along the Lake Huron shoreline near Forest.

In the afternoon after 2pm. the occasional GOLDEN EAGLE can be found. Today at 3pm. two passed directly overhead at about 100 meters up.

They are most likely to be roosting near Camlachie or Brights Grove and will follow the coast to Point Edward and over to Port Huron USA in the morning.

Forest is in Lambton County on Highway 21, and by taking Townsend Line to the Lakeshore and then taking almost any road to the lake, but preferably Glendale Beach Rd. and parking near 'The Forest Glen Herb Farm' will put you under the flight line in these winds.

I have no commercial interest in the Herb farm.

Good Birding.

Alf Rider.
Forest.
