Yesterday at the Spit, I believe I saw an Eared Grebe. It was a medium
sized grebe with. Whispy yellow plumes on the side of it's head. It had a
black neck and dark back. It did not seem like a Horned Grebe to me because

The bird that Gray Carlin reported flew out to the lake and out of sight at
1:10. I will post a photo of the bird to Flickr shortly.
While walking to Bronte Beach I saw a Common Raven to add to my corvid list for
the day having heard a Fish Crow this morning.
