I arrived around 5pm to be told the bird had just flown it did not return while
I was there.
One can only assume it was never actually there and all these reports and
photos are fake news.
Hopefully it returns in mounting probably with a hang over after all the
fermented berries it gorged on
Flew in at 11:50am and flew away again. Worth waiting around for.

A few of us have been enjoying over 45mins of clear uninterrupted viewing of
the Purple Gallinule.
Luck or patience is the key to the find.
John R Park Homestead is located at the south end of Iler road and county Rd 50
in Essex county.
