While driving west on John Wise Line (more generally known as County Road 45)
at 12:15 p.m. today, I saw a Black Vulture soaring in a southern direction
above the road, among farmer’s fields. The vulture was specifically identified
as a Black by it’s rapid wingbeats when flapping, pale wing tips, and
relatively short tail.

A more specific location of the sighting on John Wise Line is between the
intersecting roads of County Road 73 and County Road 40. The vulture was seen
soaring towards the stream that runs through County Road 40.

Directions from the 401: Take the exit for County Road 73 (also known as Elgin
Road) and head south until you reach County Road 45. Turn left (west) onto
County Road 45 and keep your eyes to the sky (and on the road of course).

Best,
