Re: wallet-tool dump doesn't show keypair with balance.

2017-10-17 Thread Andreas Schildbach
Just for information, all the addresses are derived on the fly, as they
are used. A completely unsynched wallet only has the first few addresses.

2017-10-17 Thread Jem
No, and it's quite old. I'm running a sync now in case that helps. I'll
report back.

But to clarify, I don't want to see the balance. I want to get the private
key associated with the one address that I know has a balance. That address
appears in the wallet pre-sync using the lloeki tool (but I can't get a
valid private key using lloeki).

wallet-tool dump doesn't show keypair with balance.

2017-10-16 Thread Ferrets in my Socks
I have decrypted my wallet created by
https://github.com/bitcoin-wallet/bitcoin-wallet and inspected it with
`wallet-tool dump`. It prints 3 addresses none of which have a balance.

If I inspect it with a different tool
(https://github.com/lloeki/bitcoinj-wallet-dump) I can see 271 addresses, 3
of which are the addresses displayed by wallet-tool. One of the other
addresses contains my current balance.

Can I get wallet-tool to display all the addresses?
