Accessing the menu item 'file/new' also works. On Jul 16, 6:46 pm, Jon Stovell (a.k.a. Sesquipedalian) jonstov...@gmail.com wrote: Save the following as ~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/ Actions/New Document or Window.scpt, and then restart QS. Select one or more applications in the

There used to be a fabulous little plug-in/proxy object called DeMinimizer available for QS that could arrow into individual minimised windows. I've tried the link I have for it but it's dead :( anybody know or here what happened to it? Here is a video tutorial to see it in action (the dead link

I can't arrow in anymore but you can still access an app's menu structure by typing 'textedit' then 'menu bar items' then arrow into 'recent files'. You could make a trigger for that. On Oct 28, 3:53 pm, Burton matthewbur...@gmail.com wrote: Until a few weeks ago, I frequently opened any app's

OS X 10.3 compatible version anyone?

2009-08-16 Thread funkymonkey
Hi I'm busy ressurecting an old iMac running 10.3 and of course first port of call was to install QS but the link is dead on Blacktree's website for the OS X 10.3 compatible version which I believe is B36. Does anyone know where I could find a copy of B36? I've looked about but just found dead

Re: 10.5.7 OS X update - not good news

I have a different issue since upgrading to 10.5.7. Every time I quit any application the QS clipboard history menu appears, bizarre! This will happen with either pressing command+q or selecting 'quit' from the menu of any app. What's all that about?

My triggers are garbled in that they show that strange 'X in a box' for F keys. I also can't make any new triggers but my previous ones made in B54 still work. I have to say on a positive note that A6 is the first build that I have not had to revert back to B54 within hours so a big thank you to

Wow my seemingly cynical comments at the time on this group about Alcor being Googled up to make GoogleSilver (and therefore forced to stop QS dev) appear to be quite prophetic now! I did eat my words at the time but I'm in the process of regurgitating them as I type. mahoodlum wrote: I am

Triggers not saving on quit

2008-09-30 Thread funkymonkey
Hi I'm having a problem since upgrading to as4 where triggers are not saved on quitting QS. I've tried Howard's fix for deleting a corrupt triggers plist but this doesn't help here. I'm creating a trigger to run an applescript, a trigger I have had in QS for years. When I go back to the
