Had problems with QS memory usage creeping upward hundreds of MB at a time
over half an hour or so and finally QS crashing quietly in the background
while an "out of system memory" error popped up.
After some experimentation, I determined that the issue has to do with the
Safari plugin. When

I found that the problem seems linked to the Safari plugin. Disabling that
plugin stopped the memory leakage and allows me to use QS normally again,
for which I am glad as I depend on it for navigating around and more.
