Hi,
Quicksilver hangs when using "Open With" and "Copy" (not "copy to
clipboard", this is copying files from one folder to another).
I'm using latest stable release of QS on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
Had I time, I'd launch into a paean on how all that is good in life
emanates from Quicksilver.
When I select them. I don't have a chance to execute before it hangs.
Thanks!

Yes, I often access archived project files through QS, and those are stored
on an external backup. I'll try removing my backups frm the catalog
What is considered too many files? I've got about 30K in my catalog.

Okay, didn't work. I'm reducing my catalog to see if that helps. I'll
report back.
Thanks again.

Large parts of my Qs catalog disappear every day. I have to quit and
restart Qs (and wait for a rescan) before it works again. It's become
a ritual at this point, but I'd like to finally fix the problem. Tried
Rescanning, but that doesn't work.
Let me clarify: I lose my custom catalog of my Documents folder (which
in my case, means I lose all my client files from the catalog).
Hi there, just wanted to bump this question up. Can anyone help me?
I'm using QS b56 (3820) on Mac OS X 10.5.6
Custom catalog is defined as ~/Documents with depth of infinite (This
gives me ~86K files atm). Really need this depth, as it helps me drill
quickly thru client files and swap between projects under deadline.
Documents folder is on the system hdd.

I'll rethink my depth and organization a bit, then. Thanks for the
input.
Recently upgraded to 10.5.7. QS appears to work fine when I start it
up, but once I do a basic content search (launch command window and
type a few characters to bring up a folder, for instance), the app
crashes. I was having the same problem with my older version of QS
(3820?), so I upgraded.

When I invoke Quicksilver, the interface pops up, then disappears. I can
still enter keyboard commands, but I can't see the interface, nor the
secondary window with choices.
I had just installed several new plugins: Event Triggers being the most
suspect. But I disabled it and a bunch of others,
I'm not triggering it again, since the application doesn't go away, and I'm
still able to give it keyboard input -- I just can't see it.
I don't have any other keyboard-triggered shortcut applications.
I don't think I can have more than one instance running on Mac OS X, unless
it's two differ
I've tried Bezel and Primer interfaces. Both have the same problem. I'm not
using QS in fullscreen apps (rarely use fullscreen).

It does a couple of things on these commands. Usually after the computer
has been unused for a while, it will just hang. Doesn't crash or become
technically unresponsive if I look in the Force Quick Applications menu,
but it also won't accept input. Sometimes it does crash.
Just updated to Mac
Just updated to 4010 Tuesday or maybe Monday. Problem is getting worse. Now
it crashes on "Copy to Clipboard"

Just a big ol' thank you to you developers who keep Quicksilver running
smoothly for me. I couldn't survive without QS, and it would have died long
ago without you. Thanks!!

Hi,
Quicksilver no longer appears to use the Application Support folder to
store settings. Is there still a way to export them?
I've changed computers twice in the last few months and had to set up my
triggers all over again each time. Is there an easier way?
Thanks!

I recently moved computers and my catalog is still rebuilding.
When I do a search, files and folders are served much (MUCH) lower in

Hi,
I'm not able to update Quicksilver and going to qsapp.com shows me the

Thanks
Josh.
