LFS 8.2:
in order to get OpenVPN running, I had to install ifconfig of the net-tools.
Does anybody know the deep difference between these two editions that causes
this error?

You can go there through the dep-chain
autofs -> optional nfs-utils -> optional libnsl -> required rpcsvc-proto
but I think that this is not in compliance with the books policy.

In order to move to the Maven build system, I tried to rebuild an OpenJDK JVM
in a fresh LFS sytem (in a VM). There are a few problems:
- The jtreg file is updated every few days on the ci.adoptjk.net site. Result:
