However that's only needed for the server. We'll look into updating it. -- Bruce One further point I forgot to mention, the rsync configure script looks for stunnel, and if it finds it adds support. In non-daemon mode using ssh is fine, as rsync has no built-in encryption, but in daemon mode, for anonymous access with encryption, stunnel would need to be used. Maybe stunnel should be added as an optional dependency. And openssh too, although I note that it is mentioned in the text.
