Mich, just modify the code in the script file and press control s to
save and compile the scripts. If compilation errors are found, JAWS will
let you know, otherwise compile complete will be heard.

Here's the easiest way.
Go to the start menu, and programs.
Hit the letter J until you come to the version of Jaws you want, and hit
enter.
the first thing you will come to is, explorer Jaws, hit enter
Next you will be on explore my settings, so hit enter.

What version of jaws are you using? I did an audio tutorial last year on
this very subject by the way. If you're interested in checking it out, the
file walks you through exactly where to place scripts ETC for the various
version of JAWS.
