For some reason and I don't really know what it is Rick has left the list
leaving me alone here to manage the thing. The reason I am announcing this is
because I'm not sure exactly what to do with it as it is growing as quickly as
the JAWS Users List, which means a lot of emails in my box every
Hi David,
For what it's worth, I think both lists are crucial, as the Jaws list
doesn't deal with all aspects of computing.
Obviously, judging by the sheer number of people currently subscribed to
both lists, the need and popularity of the two lists are essential for most,
if not all blind
I certainly hope this list continues.
Surely, you can find some talented people to assist.
Good luck.

I have found some useful things on this list, but there are other
lists that accomplish the same thing. Personally, the more lists out
there, the more resources are available. However, if there are 'other
lists that have the same purpose, I don't see why this list should
stay. If people want to

I think you should keep this list too if you can. I like both lists because
we do get different info on each list at times which is a good thing.

Hello,
I agree. I learned some new things on both lists, and I thing both should be
up and running. I would offer my help, but my english is not perfect, and
the time here is 8 hours ahead of USA east cost time. If I can help, I'd be
glad.

Well done David.
Let me know if there is anything we can do to help. May be difficult to
moderate in UK as I am not sure all the mails come through in real time but
let us know anyway.
Personally I find the infrastructure of these lists far superior to other
lists. I have subscribed to several
People are already lining up to help me run this thing, personally I'm
impressed and thanks for the offers folks. The basic infrastructure in my
opinion is different in that this list is not on a free service, it is
actually part of the package that I bought last spring and as such there is
Hi Don,
Your way of copying files is so much easier than the instructions I gave
Linda. I really didn't think about just sending the files instead of copying
them. I hope Linda forgets my instructions and follows yours.

Hi,
Or, since both instructions do the same thing, she could use whatever she
finds the easiest.
Just a suggestion.

actually, why doesn't the JAWS list just start being the computing list? I
mean, Jaws is
blind computing, and so is everything else.
Thanks

Now how many times does David have to tell you all to stop asking him for
your help.
If he wants it he'll let you know.
Just give the man a chance.

Hey David,
I would like to offer my services to stay out of everyone's way and let them do
their work! Ha!
Ha! I have learned so much from both of the lists and I feel that I really owe
all of you guys so
much for all of the wonderful help and advice you give. I just hope that

Yes it will. When you create a job, you'll be asked for the source and
destination drives. These are the criteria required for the actual backup.
Hope that helps.
